One of the great experiences at The Barking Frog is fulfilling someone’s request for a unique and original piece. We take their idea and combine it with stained glass techniques to produce a work of art.

Currently, due to intense and strict guidelines for shipping, we do not ship glass or finished pieces. We are, however, more than willing to work with you if you choose to pick up your creation at our new Montana location.

The Story of Clematis

A client bought the book Clematis, the story of a little girl looking out a train window at the grazing cows in a pasture, from a Rumford, Maine library book sale when she was a little girl. The client wanted this illustration as a stained glass window for years.

The Barking Frog was more than happy to make her dream come true. Today, Clematis is installed in the client’s living room, with her exterior face showing at the entrance porch. There is a small light embedded in the porch ceiling that illuminates the window at night.
